my first hat trick!

I made my dad a new winter hat that will hopefully be tight enough for him--he says the last one slowly loosened up, and he likes his hats snug. I knit it up on New Year's Day but left it on the needles until today, when I knew he was coming to visit, so I could get him to try it on. He liked it, so I finished it on the spot!
