Is It a Tam or a Large Pin Cushion?

I wish I had a digital camera to share a picture of the hat I finished today. This one's for me--a scarlet tam, slightly felted for a thicker, warmer fabric. I have curly hair and hate wearing close-fitting hats because they smash my hair down. So I think this one will be just right--though it's funny looking at the moment, stuffed with plastic bags to shape it.

I think this will be my last hat for the knitalong. It's been great fun seeing everybody's wonderful hats. Happy New Year, mad hatters!
