People will put anything on their heads, it seems to me for two reasons: either it keeps them warm, or it makes them feel cute. A good woolly cap can well combine these functions. Elizabeth Zimmermann
WHAT IS A "HAT TRICK"?
-
This was explained back at the beginning of the KAL and is in the archives, but it bears repeating.
Each of the little hat icons below represent *3* hats finished by the knitter. Post a photo of your hats here
or add a link to your blog or photo page and we'll add the icon(s).
Please email jdevlin48362 (at) yahoo (dot) com when you've finished three hats. Thanks!

way cool! And I love the ribbon woven in. The colour is perfect with the hat yarn.
So pretty! What is the yarn? And we have to give you a hat trick!
The yarn is Lana Grossa Royal Tweed. That may be hard to find (I've so far only found 1 LYS that carries it, and I live in New York City). Jo Sharp Silkroad Aran Tweed has the same weight and a very similar feel.
Also - the stitch pattern is VERY dense. While I can usually make a hat with less than 1 skein, it took nearly two full skeins to make this hat.
Oh, wow. Very nice. And a hat trick, I notice! :)
The hat is beautiful! I am so glad that you shared the pattern because I want one for me too.
what a great pattern. it looks so warm. i might have to make one of these for myself!
gorgeous hat! thanks for sharing!
Love this hat!! Any chance you still have the pattern? It's not up on the link anymore.
thanks,
Kelly
I love this hat - but I need help. I can't get to the pattern anymore, and don't have a paper copy. Has this been re-posted anywhere else?
