Hooray!

I'm so excited to see everyone joining the hatalong! This came about because Laura & I had the idea of making some hats for our kids, but I will fully admit that I'm going to make a hat for myself, too! :) I'm going to do the chullo hat for my 2-year-old, but while I'm waiting for yarn color cards to arrive from KnitPicks (yeah, likely story), I'm going to make a simple 2x2 ribbed hat for myself out of some springy purple Vermont wool I've been dying to use. I also checked out some Fair Isle books at the library yesterday and my mind is racing with incredible patterns! Planning the little chullo is going to be fun, fun, fun!
